ABOUT MVP
A Thoughtful Approach to Pilates
Maggie Valentine Pilates is a private Pilates studio rooted in precision, compassion, and lasting transformation. Every session is designed to help you build strength, restore alignment, and reconnect with your body in a meaningful way.
Meet Maggie Valentine
I’m Maggie Valentine, and my work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience.
After a car accident, I navigated years of chronic pain - including pelvic floor dysfunction, nerve pain, sciatica, breathing challenges, and misalignment. As someone who is also hypermobile, I understand how complex and discouraging it can feel to live in a body that doesn’t respond the way you expect.
Pilates was the method that helped me regain strength, mobility, and confidence. That personal journey informs how I teach, how I listen, and how I support each client who walks into my studio.
-
My practice is rooted in the classical Pilates method developed by Joseph Pilates. This lineage-based approach emphasizes precision, alignment, breath, and control - building a strong foundation that supports longevity and resilience.
Sessions are individualized, intentional, and grounded in the belief that intelligent movement creates lasting change.
-
This work is about more than exercise.
At MVP, the goal is lasting change. Whether you’re recovering from injury, refining athletic performance, or making a deeper commitment to your health. Together, we build strength, trust, and confidence in your body over time.
-
Breath, alignment & awareness
Breath is central to every session. More than inhaling and exhaling, breath is a tool for regulating the nervous system, improving focus, and creating ease in the body.
When breath and movement work together, the body moves with greater efficiency, freedom, and confidence - both in the studio and in daily life.
-
Why private sessions?
Private instruction allows for true personalization. Each session is shaped around your unique body, history, and goals.
You’ll receive clear feedback, thoughtful progressions, and steady encouragement so you can better understand how your body moves and how to move beyond perceived limitations. I meet you where you are and bring the energy, structure, or softness you need that day.
-
Movement is an opportunity to reconnect with yourself.
I look forward to guiding you through the time-honored practice of Pilates and supporting you as you fall in love with your movement - and your body - again and again.
